THERMOGRAPHIC SCANNING

FIND ELECTRICAL FAULTS BEFORE THEY BECOME FAILURES

Titanium performs non-invasive, non-destructive thermographic inspections to help protect staff, equipment, and facilities without interrupting your power supply.

About THERMOGRAPHIC SCANNING

Non-invasive checks, serious risk reduction

Electrical thermography – also known as thermal scanning or thermal testing – is the use of infrared scanning devices to detect unusually hot areas in electrical circuits.

Thermographic scanners show infrared heat radiation that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This allows technicians to identify thermal faults which, if not addressed, could lead to electrical equipment failure, fires, or explosions.

We can undertake thermographic scanning of your electrical equipment and circuits, in order to protect your staff, equipment, and facilities. These inspections are non-invasive and non-destructive – meaning there is no interference to the building’s power supply during a test – so they generally do not interfere with business operations.

Our technicians can thermally inspect a variety of electrical equipment, including:

Electrical switchboards

Transformersv

Power factor correction (PFC) units

Motors

Mechanical plant

Meters

Fuses

Why you need thermographic scanning maintenance

Infrared scanning detects abnormal heat in electrical circuits that can’t be seen with the naked eye

Finding hotspots early helps prevent equipment failure, fires, or explosions

Non-invasive testing avoids interruptions to your power supply and business operations

Critical assets benefit from routine thermal inspection, including switchboards, transformers, PFC units, motors, mechanical plant, meters, and fuses

The benefits of professional thermographic scanning maintenance

Early identification of thermal faults before they escalate into outages or safety incidents

Protection for staff, equipment, and facilities with non-destructive inspection methods

Broad coverage across key electrical and mechanical assets in commercial buildings and data centres

Standards-compliant testing to AS ISO 18434.1:2014, AS ISO 18436.7:2014, and AS ISO 9712:2014
